Serious Business

A Celebration Of Guilt and A Diamond For Disease are 10/10 in my book but anything after is pretty damn horrid imo. it's a shame that they got so bad and just became boring, I'm glad I saw them with Necrophagist in like 05 or 06.

I like their new musical direction. I think it's different for them but also what Jim has been wanting to do for a while. It sounds like 80's glam and Paul Gilbert meets some Cacophony and the occaisional King Diamond with screaming vox. Different, cool, tasty note choice as well.

Also - hahahaha I know that chick.

What the hell  Man Arsis used to be awesome, personally I love everything they've done. Hell even the new songs are still good, it's just a shame that the lyrical content has become totally ridiculous. Also, wow James Malone really, really fucked himself up.

Since I romanticize my adolescence, I prefer the new direction. Songs that could have been written by Davey Vain are more my speed than 13-minute snoozers written for pretentious ballerinas. I can totally see why someone would be turned off by the pink guitar and more simplistic songwriting though. In other news, I'm gonna show this video to my wife so she'll get off my back about losing weight. Malone looks positively frightening.

Welcome to the Nevermore board.

Ah I wouldn't say they're "Bodomy", Laiho could never write something as technical as this...

In fact it would be pretty accurate to describe Arsis as a technical death metal band... Or at least they were. I reckon the fact that they've completely changed the lineup is what lead to the simpler style.

I thought We Are the Nightmare was awesome. Sucks to see these dudes take the money cock like this.

What does Rocksane think of this peculiar twist?!
