Hi you guys...does anyone know or have any set-lists of the band's new tour?? I am trying to prepare myself for the Monterrey, Mexico Concert! Yeah!!

Thanks.

Here's the set from their first show in NYC:

Of Sins and Shadows
Domination
Inferno
Evolution
Communion and the Oracle
Smoke and Mirrors
Set the World on Fire
The Serpent's Kiss
King of Terrors
Sea of Lies
The Odyssey

Just do some poking around on the forum to find more recent ones. My guess is that once the album comes out, they'll play more than three songs from it.

I am also curious, and couldn't find anything around the forum. I really just want to know if there's a chance they'll play Revelation off PL? I'm going to the Toronto gig and would LOVE to see that song.

They played exactly the same setlist on every show here in Brasil.

I think they'll play more songs form the new album in the specific PL tour, I think now it's more like a "warm up" tour.

I would love to hear some of the older stuff. I mean shit, Pharaoh, Eyes of Medusa, Fallen? These songs are amazing. I wouldn't mind some Odyssey stuff either, besides Inferno...like Incantations or Wicked; would be frikken sweet!

I would of liked it if they played Egypt, Seven, and In the Dragon's Den.

But yeah, the bass is way better in the older stuff from the Divine Wings / Twilight era.

lol I don't think seven has a bass solo, but dragons den and egypt do. I never even thought of that being the reason. I guess being a bass player, thats what I like. I really like Thomas Miller though. Lepond is really awesome but not the same as Thomas was.

The bass solo in Seven is so nuts htat it made my testicles drop. (And now I can't sing King Diamond like Zach can.)

Wha? Where? I know, I love bass nstuff. Seven is a wicked song but I haven't heard the whole thing really. Where's the bass solo?

EDIT: OH!!!! THAT BASS SOLO TOWARDS THE END! YEAH THAT THING IS SO SICK!

I can play it but its not exactly like the way it is in Symphony X.

Am I the only person who just really abhors Masquerade?

I mean, don't get me wrong, I know Symphony X like to have fun, goof around, and can on occasion be quite cheesy...but this song (to me, at least) is like listening to Hammerfall over a game of Dungeons and Dragons, arguing about the proper portrayal of hobbits in Lord of the Rings, all while sitting in the front row of Medieval Times (which is ironic if you're Russell).

Suffice to say, I would love NOT to hear that song on this tour.

How about some stuff off of V or TiO? Really, all I ask for is Through the Looking Glass.

That's good too! I don't care if the song is "cheesy", the music is great. I mean there's that baroque solo thing and then there's a rock solo with some jazz.

How about Relic? Absence of Light? A Fool's Paradise? I'd love to hear those, too.

Although I think it is a better song, In the Dragon's Den is MUCH cheesier than Masquerade, and it's on what seems to be your favorite album of all time (Twilight). The Relic is kind of cheesy, too. Care to explain?
