From what I've been hearing Porcupine Tree is playing a heavier set than Opeth...read into that what you will.

I'm torn because if I stay for the whole Opeth set and am lucky enough to catch the 12:52 train I won't get home until 2:30AM.

My pal who spoke today with Opeth's Publicist also says that PT and Opeth switched and that Opeth won't play until 11pm. Then I call Irving Plaza and they say it is STILL Opeth first at 9pm.

Oh well...Hope I can get up for work tomorrow morning!

The last Opeth show at IP was also 3 bands, and was supposed to be 4...that probably accounts for the different door and start times.

I wonder if all the Opeth fans know that this is a Damnation tour and mostly acoustic. Seriously...

I was thinking the same thing.

Could also be that they realized that New York area is an Opeth hotbed?!!?

Who knows...Maybe we'll be told tonight (Doubt that though).
