setlist prediction thread

this really helped me out last year, and im sure it helped out some others as well.

basically list the songs you are pretty damn sure will be played in a bands set off the roster. i remember last year, i want to say it was magius or cherion but i really dont remember for sure might have been someone different entirely, but who ever it was posted a ton of set lists and it really helped me pick out the tunes that would be played so i can familiarize ya know?

im not super familiar with manticora, iron savior, gamma ray, or JOP, thats alot of albums thrown in your face at once, especially when you have no idea which songs are going to be played its hard for me to listen in super large volumes and get songs to stick in my head.

you can leave out pathosray and serenity, those guys only have one cd (to my knowledge?) but if you have any some what recent setlists, or you are pretty damn sure of even just one song that a band will be playing, go ahead and post it.

Hmmm... that's a tough one... I've never seen Iron Savior live, but I have to imagine they will play either "Iron Savior" or "Brave New World" from Iron Savior, and probably "Coming Home" from Unification. Someone who has actually seen them in Europe can probably provide a better answer, especially regarding what is likely to be played from their last few discs. Gamma Ray will almost certainly play at least part of "Rebellion In Dreamland"... if we're lucky, they won't cut it short like they sometimes do, which I hate, heh. Based on past experience, I think it's also likely they will play "Heavy Metal Universe", which IMO is not exactly their best song, but it was written specifically for a live environment, so they seem compelled to play it. I think "Heart Of The Unicorn", "Send Me A Sign", and "Somewhere Out In Space" are also reasonable possibilities. Some of the Hansen-era Helloween stuff that's often in their set ("I Want Out", "Future World", "Ride The Sky", "Victim Of Fate") will probably be changed around though, since they are actually touring with Helloween. But then one would imagine there's a fair chance that Hansen might join Helloween on stage to crank out a few of those songs. I couldn't really even provide an educated guess about what Manticora might play... same for Jon Oliva's Pain... the only thing I could say there is that since Zak Stevens is going to be around, I wouldn't be surprised if he pops in to provide vocals on "Edge Of Thorns" toawrds the end of the set.
