Seymour Duncan Blackout

Anyone have tried the new Seymour Duncan Blackouts?
They are Active pickups and look like emg's.
I saw Mark Morton at Download festival and he had the BJ on his Jackson. Now Dino Cazares have BJ on his ibanez
I'm curious about them..

I'll be buying a set when they release the standard sized 7 string buckers.

I've heard nothing but great things - supposedly like a more organic 81/85 set with a fuller low end, while retaining tightness and clarity.

I recently tried a set of the Dave Mustaine actives, and those floored me. Easily my favorite Duncan pickups, so I can only guess that these will be even better.

Yep I'm super keen on these too, I checked out the youtube, theres not enough there to really gauge how good the pickups are, are there any other reviews or tone samples ?

i was planning on putting an 81 in the bridge of one of my guitars soon...

now it looks like i'll be getting the 81 AND the blackout, and returning whichever sucks more

for those interested, i can try to post clips whenever i get around to it, but it's going to probably be a few weeks, if not a month until i pick them up
