What do you think about the new Dark Tranquillity? I personally liked the song very much but, I believe they need to do something different already. Melodic death died and I don't think its time for a revival yet.

Im a big fan of DT. I listened to the new album and thought "Oh no, they've gone In Flames"... the guitar sounds have gotten lame. But I listened it some more and started liking it. Not their best stuff but good nevertheless. The video is cool and its nice they are getting popular.

I don't like the guitar tone one bit here.. and is really nothing special. More tremolo but, I dunno, something is lacking. Listenable, nothing more.

really like the album. horrible choice for a single tho. easily the lamest song on the album. try the song called "iridium"

I liked it, but I haven't listened to that much DT. It didn't sound that much different from the other two albums of theirs I heard, but then again that's probably because I haven't listened to them that much.

i haven't been able to get into dark tranquility ever really. maybe i don't get it, but it all sounds the same

although i should state that it's not because its melodeath....ive heard plenty of melodeath in my day...i don't think melodeath is dead either....i think like all genres that become popular it becomes totally saturated with shit bands and everyone gets tired of looking into it...

these days i find myself needing something original (or at least original to me)

I dont like pornogrind or anything like that but I happen to like their album "cocktales" very much,it's funny groovy and the songs are short enough to not get tired of it easily...
