Shaman

To each his own.

Don't get me wrong, Lady, I do like Shaman, but Kiko is one of my favorite guitarists, so the fact that he's still in Angra (and that I do think new Angra sounds more like "Angra" than Shaman does) would make me want to see Angra again more than Shaman. Though I still would probably enjoy Shaman too.

I have the Shaman cd and I love it :) It was quite difficult to find it here, but it was worth it.
I have always liked Angra, but I think Edu's voice is just too common, I prefer Andre's voice.

Oh, and I simply love the duet with mr. Sammet, those guys rock!

Love their CD. Andre has an amazing knowledge of musical composition and has an interesting style. Just my opinion, but I sure wouldn't call them "power metal" They're into something a bit different here.

Dunno, tribal-power-prog metal, maybe? Lol, they are kinda hard to classify, but they do have a power metal sound, just a very unique power metal sound.

Shaman is named as a "Mystic-Metal" band. :D

people started classifying them like this due to the album atmosphere, and Andre said they accepted because they don't wanna be known as a 'melodic metal' band cause the style is saturated ...... or something :p
anyway, practically all the bands look alike and they didn't want to get stuck in this rotule
and, as I said before, this wouldn't be fair to Shaman nor Angra
