I hate to say it but it is true!!!
I'm listening to Hamferd now. I suppose it's underground because they released their first ep last year, because it's doom metal, and because they come from the Feroe Islands 
And oh, the singer told me on FB that he was a big fan of Solens Rotter... So he certainly deserves promotion, hehe!!!

Cool, Dinka, I have listened to Hamferð once before. They're pictures are pretty unmetal( which I don't mind), clad in fine jackets. Jacket-Doom! Sounds good.
They will play at the G festival this year in the Faroes along with Meshuggah and Skálmöld, for instance. I was there in 2005. Europe headlined :Þ (See the photothread for some of my pics from the Faroes)

Ehm, well I'm not going to the Faroes this year if you thought that. I was there last august. People should visit the islands at least once. I have yet to go to the southern islands, That is a project for the future. I know of Tutl, but thanx for the link.Ahah, Jacket-Doom!

I post two Czech (underground) groups and one non-underground, but still metal:
the first one is a prog with clean vocals (singing czech), i metally grew up with this band and really like their melodies

the second one is the best on czech metal scene ever, on their profile they call the style "heavy-experimental", it ranges from death to 70´s retro prog, every album unique sound and style, singing mostly in english:
