Sharing entire folders on Dropbox

I'm trying to send a few files in a folder on dropbox for people to download. Do they need to have Dropbox to download the folder, or can you just create a link to download, like you would with a song?

YEh pretty sure you can do that


or u could if you trust the person give them you login and password and they can go the web version of dropbox and download from there too

i dont think you can create a link because it wont give you like an FTP layout - Either pack the folder in a .rar / .zip or get them to download dropbox. in the mean time go to your dropbox account on dropbox.com and set the folder are shared. then invite them to join the folder and it will automatically sync to their pc / mac
