Sounds great. I don't think the bass is overbearing (is that what you meant by "overdubbed" ?).
Music is funny, like modern metal meets bluesy groove metal a la Pantera. I'd like to hear more.

It is my Ibanez SZ320 with an 18V-modded EMG 81 in the bridge. I used a Countryman Type 85 and my TC Electronic Konnekt 6 to track the DI's.
The guitars are quad-tracked, two tracks panned hard left, two tracks panned hard right. One of these tracks is 3dB's lower than the other for both sides.
Here I snapped some screenshots of the processing:

It's nothing out of the ordinary, really. It's just Steven Slate Drums EX. It's actually the Cracky Metal Kit, but I ditched Snare 10 and went with Snare 3P. Obviously some light compression and EQ here and there for fine-tuning, but nothing really all that drastic.

The impulse... I just googled "Mesa Rectifier Impulse" and this site popped up: http://www.grecore.de/IR/content.html It's on the bottom of the page, to the left. I played around with some impulses and this one sounded good with what I was going for, so I just went with it.

I'm wowed by the fact that the guitars still have that much treble with presence and trebles down all the way on Lecto haha

I tested it on my track with Lecto and was like
i need a new pc though as my cpu cant handle quadtracking with lecto

Nah man, just the EQ I posted above.
I love the EMG 81. I was using the 85 up until a few months back, but I'm really digging how attacky and easy to fit in the mix the 81 is.
Your clip sounds great! A bit too POD-y, but it fits the mix quite well.
Yeah, I was too at first. Took lots of tweaking to get there. My settings are kinda stupid, hahaha, but somehow they work. I guess the impulse I'm using is just really bright.
NP! It's a very bright impulse, but it sounds REAL Recto-ish with LeCto, IMO.thanks for the heads up on the impulse mate
