Hey all, was having trouble sleeping last night so did a quick tone test with my new ESP custom shop, if any of you have played Quake 2 you might recall this tune, guitar was running into my MXR GT-OD with gain off, level maxed and tone about 3 oclock, 6505 is on the green channel, settings were pregain 6, low 6, mid 3, high 7, post gain is on like .1 so the neighbours don't riot, and resonance 7, presence 9ish. Cab is a Framus dragon with v30's, going into 1 SM57 on axis, quad tracked.
Post processing was bass rolled off from 60hz down and highs from 12khz up.
No bass so may sound a little thin, but I'm quite happy with the guitar tone.
