should i ask my parents for a digital camera or a food processor for my birthday?

dude you can get a FP easily. i actually got a blender instead and it does all the same stuff. plus dc's are so much more expensive. ask for the camera.

and it's obvious your answers are all self-serving so try SHOWING SOME ALTRUISM maybe. think of how awesome a food processor will be!

(although i do already have a little baby one)

okay how about this:
by pushing for a DC, YOU will be able to post pics here and receive accolades and hosannahs for YOUR shutter prowess. YOU will beam with pride at how YOU entertained us and we were so incredibly appreciative of YOU.

What exactly does a food processor do? Doesn't it just chop up food and couldn't you just do that with a knife?
keep in mind Frosty that these pampered east coast types are so spoiled. they have no ken of exploding grain elevators or anything remotely resembling real life :loco:

well you can make purees with it, and chopping stuff is much easier and you can do larger quantities at once. also you can grate things (and i don't own a grater). plus if anyone pisses me off, i can slowly force their hand toward the spinning blades.

you get take-out all the time anyhow, don't you?

the local ethnicities are counting on this camera.

and don't be froofy and say that this is the impetus to cook for yourself more, just get the camera and stop being a whiney stankass.

i guess i get takeout less than anyone in my house, though.

i was just surfing the black n decker website to see if i could buy a replacement part for the mini processor i DO own, and i can't seem to find anything that even resembles it?
