Should 'nothing but death remains' be remastered ?

I think this album should be re-mastered. Maze of Existence(my favorite song on the album) has lower volume than the rest of the album, the album also contains 2,3 volume drops. I'm usually not picky about production but rarely listen to it because this.

I agree that the volume changes are quite annoying but other than that it's fine imo, so let's just leave it. A remaster would probably ruin a lot of the feeling from it, at least for me.

I actually don't like listening to some of the old Edge of Sanity things because of the production...

With today's standards and Dan's quality nowdays, they would need a re-touch.

Nothing But Death Remains actually has more than 2,3 volume drops. I don't think the other EoS sanity cds should be re-mastered. Unorthodox especially sounds great imo. I really like the guitar tone and how there is a left guitar right guitar and a middle, some of the sounds the notes produce harmonized is like WOW.

I'm with you on remastering NBDR, but I'd leave the other albums alone.
