I have for sale, two Beta 56's, one is the 56 and the other a 56A. The only difference between the two is the wider base and bigger/easier to adjust screw. I've been using these microphones on toms and snares. There's a few scratches on the Beta 56 model, but the 56A looks as good as new.

It's pretty much the same as a Beta 57, but in a more drum friendly casing. Looking at the frequency response of the two mics, they appear to be the same.
