I seriously don't. Not cos it would be a macho thing, I just don't. I also go see a doctor only in case of emergency

i don't get antibiotics either. but some minor painkiller to drop the fever is not a big deal. trust me, i hate pills very much.

imo this macho or whatever thing is just a psychological glitch, when someones afraid that his EGO shrinks because of the need of help.. The other version is the "artifical things"-phobia, which is also stupid a little, cos in a bio-apple can be more plastic stuff than in eg vitamin pills, whatever. Like "i dont take vitamins, I get them for real fruits, not these artificals" its plain stupid, cos these compounds are the bloody same whatever source theyre from.. School!!

Aha? When I feel ill I don't tell anyone, and when they can notice, I don't make a big deal about it. That has nothing to do with ego, there are more important things to worry about than a headache or a sore throat. I admit sore teeth are the devil though, bah. And if I really need a painkiller or antibiotics I won't hestitate, but I won't take any because of some minor thing.
