Singing chant question with clip.

okay i have a part in a pop punk song iv recorded that has a vocal and background group singing in a short quiet passage and and then the rest of the song comes back in but the chant stops.

do you guys have any ideas on making it sound less abrupt or does it sound fine to you?

The chant actually sounds fine, but the main vocal IMO sticks out too far. Might just be the genre though, sounds really good otherwise, good job.

yea maybe just having it lower when it comes back in/in general will help and thanks.

ha thanks man appreciate it even tho its a very short clip its a really cool song and ill prob put it on rate my mix once im done. i just wish the vocalist were a bit better(some parts are a bit harsh because of the high strain)

You could try automating a huge reverb with a long decay time to come on in the last word of the backing vox, but I think it sounds great as it is
