It sounds like you're not giving the chords allot of pressure.

no, I'm not trolling I was trying to see the effects of melodyne on a couple of notes there but I feel I'm robbing myself when I use it. Thanks for the tip, I'll see what I can do. I'm just frustrated with this at the moment. But just curious, what do you mean as pressure?

With the right technique you/I can just put pressure on the chords, more air i suppose. I can recommend mastering the mix and singing success by Brett Manning. Awesome programs.
