Single Rectifier test - SM57 - V30s

I just borrowed a single rectifer and made a little test clip. Sorry about the bass, its a crappy vst that sounds like ass

Sounds pretty good dude, but while I don't think the sound of the bass is that bad, I do think it's too loud, so I can't really judge the guitars cuz all I can make out is the upper mid crunch. But sounds promising!

Sounds good, what kinda settings, setup did you use?

Yeah. i noticed that about the bass

Setup was a ibanez with paf pros, a treble booster instead of a TS (i think that added more attack than the 808 i got) and the settings on the amp were something like
Red channel, Master, 12 oclock, bass 11:30, presence 1pm, mids something like 8 oclock, treble, 12-1pm, and gain like 12:30

Also i scooped some 500hz in cubase, like 6db. Somehow i find the rectifier mid-rangy as hell

What kind and settings? You recto had great crunch.

The crunch came mostly from the treble booster..

Its a replica of brian may's booster, with a germanium......something.... haha
it only has one knob..."gain", so i turned it up till it sounded good. like 3 pm

I agree, the rectos have this really cool midrange growl.... but I wouldn't say they're midrangey, tho
