I like both Tristania and Sirenia...
I have those two songs you were talking about dolphz...
But I do have another song which is on the Hammer Mag Sample CD. And now here comes the curiosity, the song is called Meridan and it is a complete other song to this Meridian song you have!!!
I just had a talk with Blackspirit about Tristania and Sirenia... we both think they should swap names... Tristania went in a different direction, while Morten stayed with his new band in the direction!
Mean Morten was the man of Tristania, he did a great song writing there and it's just natural that you still hear this kind of song writing with Sirenia. Basically because that's the way he is.

I do like the new direction of Tristania too, I saw them live two times on there last tour! It rocked!
I respect both bands and for me as a fan it's great to have both, the old and the new stuff
More music to listen too, more live gigs to go to, just more fun to have!

The Sirenia album "At Sixes And Sevens" has the same producer who did Widow's Weed and Beyond The Veil, so no wonder why we get even closer to the old Tristania sound... every producer of course leaves a "note" on an album too!
