Six Feet Under – Bringer Of Blood
Metalblade Records – September 23rd 2003
By Russell Garwood

This three track samples of Six Feet Under’s latest release showcases an increasingly groove-laden sound with more socio-politically-orientated lyrics than previous works. While the final song on this sampler reverts to the lyrical concepts of old, the first two are a dig at the American government and organised religion. The music itself showcases melodic yet extreme guitars, with aggressive vocals which vary between growls and whispers. The bass is prominent and powerful, while straightforward, driving drums are fitting.

These tracks demonstrate an increasingly accessible sound, and I would be interested to see if such a direction is maintained on the full album and in future. The commercial release of “Bringer Of Blood” is scheduled for September the 23rd, featuring a bonus DVD, through Metalblade.

six feet under is not punk...its fucking death metal that will never be matched by anyone.

This album is really lame and boring. Listend to it at a used cd store and within the first 3 tracks realized why the person who bought this copy new dumped it. Smelled like a full diaper! PHEW!!!

Are you kidding Six Feet Under is crap, and so is this album. Who wants to match their horrible sound in the first place. I can't stand listening to it, and i've tried a few times before. Oh and their videos suck too.

i dont like SFU very much...i think Cannibal Corpse is wayy more original and better sounding, but i still am going to see SFU live and i think they're gonna be great
