Aye, i took advantage of the special offer and these are excellent!

The birch toms are amazing and i love the snares!

Kicks, maybe not as much as the same i crafted myself but give it time.

I'm currently replacing the drums in one of Audiophile's songs as a test!

I'll post here when i'm done!

I CANT WAIT!

I'm going to get them soon, myself... I may not be able to get drumagog to work... but I'm still getting them to do manual replacement... until I either figure out Druma-GODDAMN-YOU!!!!-gog... or until I break down and buy apTrigga... which is getting closer and closer.

question for you... can you adjust which samples (mutli) trigger based on threshold settings or something similar to that?

Like if a HARD hit comes in it'll trigger sample A but if a softer hit occurs it triggers sample B... does it do that?

Yep, i was gonna suggest that i'd do apptrigga's equivilent of ".gog" for the users here but it saves each individual fuile path so you'd need to have your files in the exact same directory path as mine.

But yes, you can. Use up to 9 samples then trigger velocity ranges.

If you can't get it to work after reading the manual, you don't deserve it.

ok... the main reason drumagog isnt working for me, other than not being able to get it to trigger correctly, is when the audio stops... even at the end of the songs, drumagog keeps triggering kicks that arent even there... no audio playing, but drumagog keeps going... until I bypass it.

its the fucking weirdest thing...

sounds like a workstation issue maybe, I've never heard of this happening. I would also say contact Rim at rim@drumagog.com because he can probably help. I have had a LOT of success with Drumagog, especially the latest updates which have tightened it up quite a bit.

Gavin congrats on the purchase and I'm glad you are diggin it. For metal kicks mess with 5, 2, 1A and for slower metal maybe 3 mixed with some 5.

no worries at all Gavin, just pointing out the more obvious kicks to check out for metal. Let me know when I can hear a mix.

working on my own CD now but at the rate of laziness from the vocalist, could be a wee while.

Iäm tracking a punk band later in the month so i'll get them used on that!

Man this may sound stupid as I really am a noob in this area and only got drumagog las week but are you sure you're not using multi hit samples? therefore having hits goin on after the playback has finished? I also had that problem and when i looked at the sample i was using for kicks it had 6 hits in the one sample which really messed things up. If not then i don't have a clue
