bought the LE package today and downloaded. excited to get started - but wondered how much, if any, processing was done to the samples before i start added a compressor or trans designer to them. i'm working with the snare right now.

the doc (WAV/GOG guide) talks about mics for the Z1/Z3 samples - but not really what specifically was used, if anything, to process them like a comp.

anybody have an idea? i'm assuming they're pretty vanilla, but just wondered.

the z4 and z5 samples look interesting. can't wait to play with them.

hi Steven,

thanks for the response. yep - that's the one i've been looking at all afternoon and mentioned in the first post. i just don't see anything specific about a comp, etc applied in the doc. maybe i'm missing it. seems like it's "implied" in a few places, just want to double check. i'm curious. can you disclose that info? from what i've played with - they definitely have some 'crack' to them. i'm loving SNARE 10.

why i'm talking to the 'master' ;) - i want to make sure i'm using the z4 and z5 samples correctly in Reaper. where you metion in the WAV/GOG manual 'create a stereo AUX' - for Reaper i'm guessing that's just a simple SEND? i've seen you post a few times over at the Reaper forum - so assume you've done this in there before. that's what i'm doing now and it sounds pretty good - just want to make sure i'm making the most of them.

thanks!
