what do you usually make to mix kick 10?
i usually make 50-60 hi pass and another cut/boost but finally, kick never has full sound.
i use ozone (harmonic exciter) to obtain this but i don't think this be good...
what could i make to otbain width sound in my kick?

mmm, i am asking about width sound in my kick.
i get a strait sound (i don't know how to explain it)
i want my kick sound full in my speakers.

Yeah man, I think you should try paying the bucks.

Are you using Cubase/Nuendo?

WTF, you should have the boom then. I dunno what to tell you.

xDDD. i think you don't understand me...
my slate kick 10 is sounding good but i want to learn mix well to sound more fat.
now, i make 50-60 hz hi pass, and a cut in 200hz.

if i want to sound fat in speakers i've to put harmonic exciter in lows and mids. another method?

thanks

Its clearly a headroom thing. Are you sure you're not on protools? Try using a behringer AD800(0)

no, no, i'm programming drums.;) 100% programmed.
midi track in nuendo with my slate kick 10 with velocity 100.
i'm asking about mixing.

Ah width, try a limiter too, parallel compression, blend with another kick. Reverb is good to obtain width. I dont use in kicks but you can try to add a little reverb.

its all about the BOOOMMMM! :D

When using any Slate sample, I always process it to fit the song best. Just like everything else in mixing, there is never an always......

I would bump up the velocity though....I'm not at my studio, but I doubt it sounds the same at 100 and 127
