just wanted to show you guys what i did lately for a band,
its just a small teaser, but i offically love vcc ! :)
i used it on almost all channels, Brit N for guitars.

drums are real with a really cool roomsound,
except for snare, which is a custom sample with 3 different reverbs
layered beneath.

i really love how this grabs your ears.
im sorry icant post without vcc,
the mix would fall apart....
still guys, this thing is amazing ! even in beta!

Wow , those high's are indeed pretty painful to my ears. Probably a multiband compressor on the master would solve this. And is it me or are those toms clipping pretty hard? Furthermore awesome mix!

The highs are definitely quite forward. You mentioned in the other thread that your ears are tired. Maybe take a listen to it again tomorrow when they're not fatigued - I'm sure you'll pick it straight away. Those overheads are quite piercing. The whole mix is a bit treble-centric, with not much low-end meat going on, so it could just be hearing fatigue manifesting itself in the mix.

hmm.... what are you gyus listening on ?
might be the highhat thats a little harsh ?

overheads are piercing in general, especially on higher volumes...I guess you'll hear it tomorrow as soon as your ears are fresh again ;)
