Just got my ilok and VCC from slate today!
Did som quick test on a recording i did last week
(mix/master is not the most serius, but works).

just added vcc to all chanels and a little gain boost: (missed the sn and oh) http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1575659/VCC A.mp3
did some minor tweaks on the channels inserts and gain and added vcc to sn+oh: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1575659/VCC C moar.mp3
is a little bit louder, but the difference between this and the untouched are pretty obvious when comparing.
I find it to be a lot more punchy and gives more seperation, more depth and
musical color, also found the guitars to be less harsh and more pleasent. in short, im very satisfied with it. The mix/master chain is 99% the same , the only difference is the vcc.
Any thoughs from you, fellow snepsters?
