Did anyone go see slayer and megadeth in brisbane on wednesday night? Unfortunatly i missed out on megadeth but i saw slayer i thought they were pretty awesome...What are everyone elses thoughts on the gig?

Apparently the Melbourne show ended up as Slayer karaoke because Tom lost his voice completely to laryngitis. They were getting people up on stage to have a go at singing. Pretty damn glad I didn't cut my holiday short and come back for that one as I was intending. They've had the good sense to cancel the Adelaide show.

Seriously, if I go to see a Slayer show, I want to see Slayer on form and killing it as they usually do, not being forced to play instrumentally with a few randoms getting up on stage here & there to massacre a few of their classics.
