Howdy Metalheads!

I've been trying to get onto the Slayer forums, but apparently the place is a ghost town... so I figured I'd just let everyone else in the metal community know about my latest little project (went over well on Megadeth's forums)

I just finished a cartoon based on the Slayer classic "Criminally Insane" that came out pretty damn awesome.

I created it just for the hell of it. Had the idea in my head for a few years, and I finally just sat down and hammered it out.

Turn up the volume and enjoy...fun for the whole family

That is awesome man. Nice job. How do you get it to stay on youtube without them taking it down? I tried to do a short movie a year ago using a few slayer songs and almost instantly youtube disabled the audio on it. The technology is crazy how it can trace the songs.

Usually I just use all original source material... but in this instance I wasn't sure what was going to happen. I put it up thinking it'd probably be pulled in a few days or something, but it seems to still be kicking. Not sure why some things are taken down, and why others stay up. Youtube automatically embedded in the Itunes link for "Criminally Insane," so I really don't see an upside to taking it down. If anything, I would think this could attract more new fans who aren't really aware of Slayer's "Bad-Assness," or were too young to know them at their peak. However, it would only take a phone call/e-mail to end it all... so I'm hoping it reaches as many people as possible before that happens.

Overall, this one took about 2 months (nights and weekends) to put together (which in the animation world is pretty fast). This is definitely the fastest I've put together a full color cartoon. The last one I did took me about a year in my spare time to assemble. Animation is a pain in the ass... but super rewarding when it's all said and done.
