SLAYER, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and MASTODON tour

The Slayer website lists which venues they are doing the raining blood bit. Okay now it doesn't (or I can't find it), but it used to be there. These dudes will be out here in a month, I really need to go. That Still Reigning DVD kicked my dick in!

Since I am 6'7" (over 2M for you Euro folk) ... Araya locked eyes and we sang some verses of Necrophiliac and Angel of Death together, then gave me that evil grin ... which in teh gay way ... made me giggle like a girl ... and all of of a sudden made all the money spent on metal over 20 years ... all worth while .. hehe.
:kickass:

Did you have to work? Or just couldnt sleep? it used to take me days for the ringing to go away, even with ear plugs.

I should go, but my ears have had it, and I cant stand the inbred punks that show up, and idiots like Erik whom argue with me for looking non metal, as if I must buy some band t shirts, and wear my hair long to fit in. Last time I went I came out covered with blood, as some fucker tried moshing around me, hit me in the face, I hit him back in the nose ahwell it was good violent time. I hear they arent doing the raining blood thing in cincy anyway, and theres is the only tour I ever bother to go see for the aformentioned reasons.

i have my own business so nights out during the week are no problem for me ... some of the people that work for me were laughing it up yesterday ... that I am going to see Slayer.

the crowd was super rowdy and in rare form last night in NYC. Good crowd though. The pit and crowd surfing was intense, but people were helping eachother out ... i got a boot in the face at one point, but see no mark left this morning.

For whatever reason, shows in NJ are never as good as shows in Philly or NYC. The crowds aren't as cool and the bands aren't as juiced.
it's fucking Jersey, can you blame them. and usually they end up playing Jersey after some brutal NYC gig ... so it's wind down time.

Also must be mentioned that the sound was super crisp, clear and fucking loud last night !!!!

Also saw Tom Hunting from Exodus (I think it was him) checking out Slayer, from backstage ... they played the Roseland the night before.

they definetelly played all that, and honestly I might have missed another 1 or 2
the set was well over an hour and a half ...

here is a pic of the post "raining blood" mop up of the stage ... i think it sums up a typical Slayer concert
