Slayer Confirmed For U.K.'s Reading And Leeds Festivals - April 28th, 2006
Slayer are among the latest names to be added to the bill for the Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds festivals, set to take place August 25-27 at Reading's Richfield Avenue and Leeds' Bramham Park in the United Kingdom. Also confirmed for the summer event are Audioslave, Pearl Jam and MYy Chemical Romance, among many others. More information is available at NME.com.

The Slayer-headlined "Unholy Alliance Tour - Preaching to the Perverted" will kick off on June 6 in San Diego, CA. The seven-week trek boasts what has got to be the genre's coolest line-up - joining Slayer will be Lamb of God, Mastodon and Children of Bodom (who will rotate the second and third slots), and Thine Eyes Bleed, who will open the shows.

Yep, going to see the Slayer, Lamb of God, Children of Bodom,Thine Eyes Bleed and.... well, In Flames... on the Unholy Alliance Chapter II on Novermber 1st. Can't wait. Shame that Mastodon were replaced by In Flames for that one, but oh well, can't win them all.
