Then in two days they are HERE!!! I can't wait for this show! It's gonna kick some major ass!!!

Wednesday=Slayer

Then

Saturday=Nevermore

Gotta love that, 2 killer shows in 3 days! MI is a happy thrasher this week :)

Anyone else from the TL board going to these shows in Portland??

MI have a great time. Slayer and Arch Enemy kicked ass in San Diego last Friday night. They played to a sold out crowed of over 1600 metal heads. During Slayer the floor was one big pit. Arch Enemy played alot of new stuff and Slayer did the whole Regin in Blood plus other songs. I can't wait to see them again this Saturday night.

Unfortunately I'm going to miss Nevermore cause the show I was able to go to sold out and the next night is on Thanksgiving and I can't go :yell: . You'll have to give me a full report on it.

Killer..........Lots of Old School friends their on this Historic Tour!.......AE was great but played way to short a set.......Hatebreed, was good but sounded like one big song, they sounded the same every song........Slayer RULED!.......I was with my 8 year old God-Daughter, and she rocked out(she loves Slayer, thats my little girl)........now lets hope Slayer will play the whole South Of Heaven album, next tour.......That would Rule!

Hey MM..sorry you can't see Nevermore...that sux ass! I'll let ya know how it was.

Slayer is selling out fast everywhere too! My friends didn't get their tickets and now it's sold out so they aren't going. I guess it sold out 2 days after I got mine! I slipped in under the wire! (Whew)! I'd have to kill myself if I had to miss this Slayer show! HA!

Anybody go to the SF show? How was it?
How do you think it was? Where were you? I cant understand how so many people are missing this tour. This is THE best Slayer tour in 15 years, no word of a lie! Ive seen em' all, and this is one for the history books for sure people! I only hope that they retain several of the RIB songs (EPIDEMIC?, REBORN?, NECROPHOBIC?) for the next tour and maybe even continue to bring back long lost classics! (PRAISE OF DEATH?, FINAL COMMAND? KILL AGAIN?, SHOW NO MERCY?, SILENT SCREAM? LIVE UNDEAD? READ BETWEEN THE LIES?)

now lets hope Slayer will play the whole South Of Heaven album, next tour.......That would Rule!

I'd much prefer the entire HELL AWAITS album, starting with Hardening of the Arteries and then in order! FUCKIN' A that would rule!!!

I've got school, man. College calls, and my parents were none too keen about me attending a show on a Sunday night with another one coming up the next weekend. If they were playing a different album, I might have tried harder, but...eh. Slayer will return (and hopefully not with Hatebreed next time).

The show was KILLER last night! Loved every minute of Slayer...and they did not play Stain of Mind Hunger ;) I never thought I'd see them play Reign In Blood in it's entirety...this is every old school thrasher's dream Slayer show! Lombardo was an absolute God! He's definitely THE MAN!

The rest of the show was...well...meh.

Arch Enemy was pretty weak, I think it was a bad line up for them anyway. One cool thing about their set was the KILLER guitar solo the Amott brothers did...in unison! VERY cool! Other than that they didn't impress me.

Hatebreed was pretty boring...as a friend of mine put it.."The first 5 songs were pretty cool, but when they decided to play them again I got kinda bored!" HA!!!

Slayer rules all that is Metal!!

On to Nevermore!!!!!!!!!!

Alright MI....nice review, but AE played great in SF, guess they just do'nt perform as well out in the sticks.....now run along back to your farm & milk some more cows, until you can hook up the horses to your carriage, next time you venture to the city(for a show)..........hope it's not harvest time, or you can't go at all.......did you wear your best overall's?.........you review does'nt impress me.......your the Anti-Enemy........& Pro-peth.....anyways, what do I expect from you farmgirls?.........Well maybe inbreed babies, but not concert reviews........JK......:Smug:

Lets see what other board members will say about how AE was?.......Metalmaiden saw them twice & said they were great!.....How about HiddenLegions?.....or other people that are not Anti-Arch Enemy?.....then the truth shall be heard!.........Lifes different in the big cities, next time take some X and maybe you'll love them!

I will be seeing ARCH ENEMY on Saturday night, I will let you know. I think AE rules. I just got back from the House of Blues in Hollywood , saw DIMMU / NEVERMORE, it was a GREAT SHOW ! Dimmu fuckin rules , so does Nevermore. They played nothing but their "heavy" songs. Smyth tore it up !

Well DE (aka Jackass) before you go slinging insults remember..it's just my opinion...nothing more. I went into the show looking forward to AE, I like their new album and I like the fact that there's a female vocalist on that scene...their performance (aside from the god like guitar solos) fell a little short for me.

And I must not live to far out in the "sticks" if I have access to almost every show that comes through the almighty bay area (the only ones that don't come here are the ones that ONLY play there..*cough*Death Angel*cough*).

I knew I could count on you to take my post completely personally..:Smug: Since you were the one on stage performing and all...

P.S. Just for future reference..the inbred comments are a little over the top...if you know what I mean...
