They're a great live band, but I don't find myself reaching for their albums much anymore.

Of Natural History is utterly insane, perhaps the ugliest avant-prog album of all time...needless to say, it rules immensely. The monstrously low bass and scattered percussion noises makes Crimson's rhythm section(s) sound almost conventional in comparison.

"The Donkey-Headed Adversary of Humanity Opens the Discussion" is their best song (and it's even better when combined with its intro "A Hymn to the Morning Star").

I just assumed that everyone knew all the bands I did since they regularly talk about bands I've never heard of, but, then again, Slough Feg was a huge hit here only a year or two ago.
