After many grueling hours of checking out various guitar tabs. A buddy and I decided to check out Slipknot and the songs that have been tabbed. After gazing for about 10 seconds at each tab, we came to the conclusion that they must program computers on their off time because all thier songs were used with the 101011100011 format. After thinking these guys were complete idiots I realized they are computer nerds that transfered thier knowledge of binary to thier music.

No fucking shit man.... I've been playing the guitar three months and can play their crap... What that really means is, THEY FUCKING SUCK. I can't stand those idiots.

That being said... funny stuff.

 Come on man, give 'em a break. Don't they hit the 2nd and 3rd frets every once in a while?

I've heard about ten slipknot songs from various different recordings and an entire new song from the speakers at the Dio show I went to. They're shit. Enjoying them should be a crime punishable by firing squad.

the lead guitarist is also good. they have a crapload of talent in that band. they just dont use it. and why they dont is beyond me. especially now. if they could record a good album right now, they may be able to regain some credibility without loosing their hot topic fan base

Their latest album has a few interesting moments and at least they're trying to move in the right direction. That is all.

I'm sorry but out of the shit I've heard by that band, the new album is the most pathetic bunch of horseshit ever produced. (except for anything by disturbed)

Utter tripe such as Trapt, Papa Roach, Simple Plan and Limp Bizkit overshadow anything Slipknot has released in the horseshit stakes. But whatever man, opinions are opinions and I don't think we need to argue over something as debatable and ultimately pointless as this.
