thanks! Is the sample from the Slipknot cd or do you know what the source is? Btw, the guitars+bass don't play back for me "Could not determine type of stream." everything else works ok though.

edit : The guitars play back in Windows ok just not on Linux.

dont know why would it do something like this. weird. as a huge slipknot fan ive got a cd owned by Craig it has all their samples and whatnots from the first album cycle and loads of older stuff. so i included that.

Ah cool! I found it it's a sample from an Al Pacino film....

It's probably a bug in GStreamer on linux. I tested VLC in linux and those files play back without a problem.
