Heh....now before you try to bash me. Let me just say "Mate, Feed, Kill, Repeat" is just amazing. It's sad these guys strayed way far from this release and it's sound, but fame can get to ya. Eh.....Anyone own this cd? how much did it cost you? It ws only limited to 1000 copies, and was not released by roadrunners records.

They were sold out from their first album. This type of band doesn't approach music with a desire to make art, they're aim is entertainment in order to gain money and fame. I've not heard a single song, old, new, or otherwise, that wasn't some cliche 'angsty' sell-out.

^No, I never heard it. Slipknot sucks these days, they sold out and went soft(not to say they didn't in the first place lol) but I'll give it a shot.

But I feel that this release isn't just some aim to make an image appeal to the masses, but more of a true artistic piece of music. Prior to their "slipknot" release which lead to the enite image ridden, tasteless, slipknot we know today. To me this is slipknot in their true artistic form. Not the mainstream sellouts.

You can see the change on Vol. 3 The Subliminal Verses which I bought in my days of no knowledge of extreme metal and only knowledge of mainstream metal. Songs like Circle sucked, come on, acoustic stuff? I remember making fun of that song calling it Circle Jerk. And I liked Slipknot back then, I listened to Slipknot the other day and it just isn't what it was to me when I was in middle school. I've heard too much good black and death metal to get back into that.

I see alot of ppl who like wait and bleed but I think it's one of the worst slipknot songs ever, meh, each his own I guess
