I got a pre-demo version of "BlessU2Die" from Omin. Given the fact I am from FS myself I find it twice as strange as usual, but the truth is that I am totally, completely and iltimately blown away. I never expected this song would sound so damn good. To me it sounds like Emperor meets My Dying Bride, Dimmu Borgir and Opeth, well can I decribe it much simpler? It is 100% recognizable Forest Stream - majestic, sad and mysterious. The song is fast and slow, evil and furious but sublime at the same time. I just love it. I hope we can upload a demo mp3 in coming December. I am not sure about the demo but we'll use real drums for the album for sure.

Another killing news is still to be confirmed after I get a response from Lee; presumably he is contemplating his just rearranged gay porno collection and could have just ignored my message being in the heat of passion tho!! :))))))))))))

Anyway, we'll keep you informed.
By the way! The track-list from the forthcoming album is already available at www.earache.com

Another news is confirmed.
Yesterday, I managed to catch Lee. He was participating in some kind of a furious gay orgy and told me je loves me no matter how gay I am. Now don't tell me I am weird. Actually I found a lot of similar things in our behavior. For instance both of us bursted into a two minutes of Homeric laughter after I said "Hi Lee, that's Sonm". Anyway I was happy to hear that Lee was having a great time and I got the confirmation that

Forest Stream will participate in (you think a gay orgy similar to the one Lee was involved into? You are wrong! At least for this time!) a special TRIBUTE TO KATATONIA, which will be released by german Northern Silence in the beginning of 2005.
A song to be covered - Without God. I talked to Blakkheim and he was glad to hear that. And now a few words about our upcoming tour -
Tvangeste will not be playing together with us because of their line-up problems. Instead of them we greet russian prog-death band called Hieronimus Bosch. So the final roster to hit the road looks as follows

Forest Stream
Hatecraft
Hieronimus Bosch
Stalwart
+ special guests

The status for the new album - prerecording the demo, basically we need this to hear how all things sound together. Seems good so far. But please don't overrate this album, just because it is long-waited so to speak. You never know how it goes. I promise that we'll do our best, but who knows what others like.

On 25th we plan to make a good video of the gig in Moscow if everything goes okay.
So I hope things are slowly accelerating at last! I hope everything goes even faster when I am back to Russia.
Cheers all!

Very nice...this could not have come at a better time...I was about to make a thread commending you on your performance on this live vid of one of your gigs where you play Without God which Ivan put up on the Katatonia boards, very awesome cover indeed. Best of luck guys! Im actually trying to finish up a small Katatonia cover myself, would it be ok if I let you guys hear it in this thread when it's finished?!?

But anyway, I was very happy to finally hear/see FS live in action, you guys are great, and it's nice to be able to understand what a foreign band is talking about in between songs (usually it just sounds like swedish gibberish, but not russian!!)

Ivan did put the cover??????????????? OLD BUGGER!!!! WHERE???

Woot so happy to hear the news. I too am greatly anticipating your album, probably the only album I ever had to anticipate...the reason is well I have heard your album many many many many times, and I want to hear the continuation! So I hope you guys make it as good as the last! Ill be the first to buy it!!

That sounds exceedingly cool. If 'Black Swans' is any indication (I have yet to acquire 'Tears of Mortal Solitude') then both Forest Stream albums are set to become a couple of my favorite ever.
