I am sure this has been covered before but I would like to raise it again because I am so angry. This "feature" of Kontakt has been f@cking me over for years and I have gone through hoops to try and work around it.
It could be that this issue is only happening to me due to the version of kontakt and Cubase that I have , so maybe this issue does not happen to you, I dont know.
The volume slider on each Kontakt instrument keeps resetting back to 0db whenever I hit the stop button and its been driving me insane because I usually have more than one kontakt instrument loaded and I adjust the volume of each instrument inside kontakt to get the blend I want.
After years of not knowing what was causing this I have now found the culprit. Inside the instrument options tab there is a check box called "Accept Standard Controllers for Volume and Pan" and it is checked by deault. Uncheck this smegging little fucker and Kontakt will behave correctly and not throw away your volume settings.
