Smylex plays Drums toooooooo

Did anyone happen to notice Smylex playing the cymbals at the paladinos show/ I mean he plays cymbals ..... He sings ...... He plays Bass (I think he told me he plays bass). I see he is also really good with a flashlight...He plays it to the tune of BLUE MOON.

WHY IS HE NOT IN A BAND ?

Ya know, I keep asking myself the same thing.

A friend of mine who manages a local act said that I don't get gigs because I don't have a strong enough personality or something to that effect. I guess I'll just have to quit practicing and learn to be one great, big, happy ray of fuckin' sunshine. I don't know. Do I look like a fuckin' people person?

As to the cymbal playing: that's something that just started up one night at a previous Paladino's gig. Linda offered me one of her sticks to hit the bell on her ping ride cymbal so she could hit the china cymbal. I do have to keep my distance while she's playing because she's often tempted to start attacking me with her sticks!

By the way: yes, I do play bass. Guitar, as well, but I've been kind of focusing more on Classical Guitar rather than Rock/Metal.

I sing?! Wow! Where'd ya hear that?

Bull pucky! I've jammed w/you and Uprooted and you kick some major buttage Smylex! You get into it and play with conviction! Now, go get that gig you were telling me about last night!!!!!

The cymbal playing is a lure to get him close enough to try to tap the Smylex sinse he has been staying far away from me lately on stage! Tap the Smylex....hmmmm...sounds like a new game show! It adds another moment of fun to the set! Thanks Smylex!

classical guitar~that takes alot of feeling. from what i've heard/seen you play, you must rule at that too. good luck at your audition, and stop hiding from linda~everyone needs a good tap now and then!

Yeah, BECAUSE I'M WORKING! Someone has to keep an eye on the props when people are messing around with them or when people start coming up on stage (the air guitar-playing guy at Canes sound familiar? ).
