Hi Andy
You mentionned several times on this board that you use the Alesis D4 for bass drum samples. For the snare, do you use samples from the D4 as well ? If so, which ones did/do you use (I have the D4 as you may imagine).
Also, what do you think of the ddrum brain ? I've tried both, and I think I prefer the ddrum (but I use the D4 as it's a lot cheaper). I've recorded drums with triggers, and I thought the ddrum had a better response, without that many "mistakes" (notes appearing when they weren't played, not appearing when they should, etc.)
Thanks a lot in advance for your answer

OK, the killswitch album was snare 2 Fat City, Colin uses 15 alot Rim Centre, and I tend to use picallo alot with a Bob Clearmountain sample mixed in.

I also have a ddrum 4 but trigger with soundreplacer now, I like the ddrum for the fact it has multisamples. Depending on what program you are using you should check www.drumagog.com. Soon to be available for pro tools
