So do you actually keep a shopping list?

My Red Stream order was placed on the 6th, and I got it yesterday. So it took 4 days (I ordered stuff in the evenings).

My first The End order was on July 29th. No arrival yet, and today is two weeks exactly.

My split was ordered from them on the 3rd, no arrival after 8 days.

I placed a Willowtip order on the 8th (it was shipped on the 9th). I bet I get it today or tomorrow.

I just want to know what The End does differently now than what they were doing two years ago, when it was unusual for an order to take longer than 3 days.
 
It's funny that I get my orders from THR (a mailorder in Sweden that only accepts cash in hand) faster than from The End (a mailorder in fucking Utah that accepts credit cards and Paypal).

Sorry about the bitching, but it pisses me off.
 
The End used to be fantastic. I used to get my CDs in 2 days. Now it's closer to 4-5. I know that they ship orders of 3 CDs or more using a different shipping method (if you choose the free option), than they they do for 2 or less.

J - did you use paypal with The End orders? You realize the recent issues with paypal right?
 
No - some orders from PayPal haven't been going through to vendors. I had this issue with both Martyr Music and Red Stream. I wrote an e-mail to both vendors after I hadn;t received anything for 2 weeks, and although they could both see my orders in their system, PayPal had not sent them an e-mail notification of the new order. So it just sat there....in the meantime, my Red Stream order went out of stock. Bah. :(

Another thing worth trying is going into your paypal account and looking at the account history. You will see two lines for each transaction: one to denote 'payment' and the other 'transfer'. Or something like that. Make sure you have details for both these for the The End order in question.
 
Cool. I just looked at both, and both of the orders have the payment and the transfer. I emailed The End regarding both orders. THanks.
