Ok, on my next Cd shopping venture (whenever that will be), I wanna pick up 1 of the 3 Savatage albums I need to complete my collection on Savatage end of things. I will most likely only be able to buy 1, thanks to low finances, so don't say "get them all", or something. PLEASE HELP!

I know you dont wanna hear this butGet them all Sorry dude. Anyway on your budget I would say that you should get Edge of thorns Some of Criss Olivas Best work is on that album !:rock:

I don't know about all. But anything with Criss Oliva would be a sure thing. The band went down the crapper with his passing. Great guitarist. Yoo know who was the real talent between Jon & Criss.
RIP-CRISS.
Edge of Thorns->

I personally feel that they fed off of each other Take one out of the mix and it fucks it all up Criss oliva in my mind is the Greatest Guitar player of all time but thats just me. In Jons defense He is VERY talented He has written some my favorite songs "Poets and Madmen" Is The best Sava. Outing in a while!!!!! :rock:

I agree with Jonny. They fed off each other. But also, they were both among the best at what they did. Criss is one of the greatest guitar players to ever pick up the instrument and Jon is a fucking powerful vocalist on both emotional levels and physical levels. Not only is he a great vocalist, but he is a fantastic piano/keyboard player. The best. And i actualy like the post Criss stuff! Alot! Dead Winter Dead is one of my favorite albums!
