In a nutshell, the movie is more about laurie than michael. Its more violent than the first one, but nowhere near as good. Loomis is back though, which is always good.

Loved the visuals, but honestly id rather sit through halloween 3 than watch this again. Thats depressing.

I just voted on rotten tomatoes, and its sporting a nice 21%.
 
im kinda surprised there is even a sequel, since ya know, someone got shot in the face at the end of the first one...i mean, i know that doesnt usually count in horror movies where the evil guy always seems to die and come back, but since this was a 're-imagining' i thought maybe itd just be a one-off. oh well, i like Rob Zombie's movies so ill probably see it eventually anyway, whether in the theater or netflix.

I LOVED the original halloween II. The hospital setting was easily my favorite in the series, and was done really well for its time.


I still have high hopes for final destination :puke:
 
And even that wasn't anything amazing. Everything he's ever done has been mediocre to me. Music or movies.
 
I really liked the first Halloween he made. I really did. Im gonna see this anyway just because i wanna. If its bad, its bad. I know ive sat through much worse.

I like the Halloween movies. Except the 3, season of the witch. I saw it in the theater when I was a kid, and people were getting up and leaving, grossed out. My Mom almost lost it when the bugs came out of the lady's mouth. hahah!
 
yeah, it sucked hard. i was soo pissed off. the reason i liked prior rob zombie flicks was his attention to detail and the fact that he valued the nostalgic aspects of horror. but he completely ruined it. there were continuity issues, bad script, bad acting (i expected it but not like this lol), plot holes....not to mention that he changed who michael myers is completely!!! *shakes head*

utter dissapointment.
