So Halloween II came out today

I saw it tonight, I did not hate it, I did not love it, Rob Zombie has turned this into a hyper-violent film franchise for the new generation of desensitized youth, every kid in the audience loved it, I talked to a few of them, some came with their parents, the parents would just say "it was good" the kids all said "it was fucking kickass" or something similar... interesting in any case that these kids parents obviously saw the originals during a time when you didn't need hyper-violence to be scary, and btw.. H2 was not scary, just highly stylized, atmospheric and sometimes downright laughably cheesy

I was kinda hoping that it would be to Halloween what The Devil's Rejects was to House of 1000 Corpses, but I'm really sure that's not the case at all and most likely will continue to ignore this movie! The first one was okay I guess, all I remember is cat vomit all over the floor while trying to watch the DVD, shrug.

So we saw Inglourious Basterds tonight instead and I feel that was a much better idea

Hrmmmph.
Was it atleast better than the Friday the 13th remake? Cuz like, that sucked fucking balls.

was i the only annoyed by the fact that Michael Myers had always been a silent character, and all of a sudden he was grunting all the time?? it made everything soo lame. because for me, the appeal of michael myers was the fact that he killed because he was just insane, he had "a destiny to fullfill" in his twisted mind, it was almost like some supernatural force was killing through him. and now, he is killing out of anger, grunting, turning off signs from open to closed after choke slamming two people in the same scene? please... the first remake was good. i liked how he made michael myers bigger, badder. but he was still silent and crazy. in this one hes no different than a hobo on meth. some stupid grunting dude that wont die. horrible. and WTF was with the ending???

Lolololol Lori Strode is his sister and becomes as nutty as him after he dies. Also he talks once. GAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.
