Just thought I'd introduce myself officially since I've been lurking here a bit. My name is Matt, and I've already been harassing the folks in the IRC channel for a few days.
I'm in a band called Mirror Black (I play guitar) and I'll save you the trouble: "Gee, wonder where you got that name." Everyone says that (including Warrel Dane the time my drummer met him). We definitely have some Nevermore influence going on but also a lot of other modern metal like Symphony X, Evergrey, Iced Earth. We'll have a website soon and hopefully a song to download. We're in the process of writing a lot of new originals and in the meantime we do some covers live, including a few Nevermore ones (and one Sanctuary song), which is a lot of fun.
I saw Nevermore for the first time on their tour with Dimmu Borgir last year and my only complaint was that they had a very short set.
