So... I did something stupid. + dumb cubase feature.

Loren Littlejohn

Lover of all boobage.
So I was fuddling around trying to figure out how to make cubase re scan for plugs when I found a button that shit cans all plug in authorizations. That's right all of them (MEGA FUCKING FACE PALM).

So I immediately went FUCK!!!! When I did this of course and went to go do a system restore. I made this screw up at 11:15p, and I had a system restore point at 10:30p.

God bless time machine. Hopefully windows 7 has this, if then then lame.

Wait... hang on... what button was it you pressed?? Don't mean to be a party pewper, but a DAW having a "delete all auths" button makes no sense whatsoever.

...MY GOD :goggly:

Yes, and I've also got a mouse that reads my mind. It's even called Magic Mouse. Like a wizard rodent and shit. Awesome. Yeah, every browser crashes whenever I try to open certain Myspace pages due to Snow Leopard issues, buck fuck MySpace anyway, I can browse through photos of myself JUST BY WAVING MY FINGERS! In fact, this could be the most awesome invention ever. It's even more awesome than other identical units, because it's mine. In fact, I think it's even more awesome than the awesome inventions that made it possible to design such devices. Like electricity. And writing. And fire. Fuck all that, I just love my awesome iMac!

Some plugins rely on operating system details, to create their unlock files. If you updated your OS, that could trigger a re-auth. Changing memory size/type, or changing your hard-drives could also do it. I'm honestly not aware of any button in Cubase or any other host that would do what you're saying happened. As far as the host is concerned, it is not even aware that plugins require authorization - that is a separate process that happens outside the host. Puzzling me, but I guess you're up and running now??
