so i was watching mtv2 today

and there was this special on which featured all these "crunk" videos from lil jon and his friends and it had the words scrolling by on the bottom so you could see what they were saying.

I miss not having MTV2 in my room. I never watch it now. Fond memories of playing the "pick the next song" game, whatever that show was called.

I think I've seen that same show before. Once at somebody's apartment last semester, Colin (who was at the Asheville show with us) and I were sitting around and they had that on with the sound muted and other music playing elsewhere, so we decided we'd rap along, even though we didn't know how the songs actually went. And whenever the lyric was **** we always said "Fuck" no matter what the context of the actual censored word happened to be. In retrospect, it was pretty funny and I'd wager that more than a few people at the party thought we were out of our minds.
