Is anyone else going and does anyone have any suggestions in terms of hotels, is it better to drive than fly (or vice-versa), etc.?
So I'm thinking about going to PPUSA this year.

The lineup isn't as strong as last years and there will be a problem in getting a hotel due to various conventions. So, I might just skip it in 2009.
Personally, I thought last year's was weak. Other years have been better but the only bands that remotely interested me were IE and JOP.

I want to go because of Sabaton, actually most of the roster doesn't do much for me. But I was also exploring when I went for the first time in 2006 looking only for Savage Circus and Jorn.

Best festival in the US that I've ever been to. You can fly into Atlanta and take a train right toi the venue. I think hotels will be at a premium this year. If you're going to go, I'd start getting things in order now. If you frive in, your hotel options are much better, as you can stay on the outskirts must cheaper.

There's hotel info on the website, I'd start there, see what is available. It's awesome, imo, to NOT have to worry about a car while your down there. There are plenty of options for food within walking distance. If you are going to check any touristy type things, you'll probably have to do cabs, MARTA, or rent a car...Hope to see you there!
