I don't know if you know Nick (Décadent) who used to post here. He's an Aussie and a friend of mine who's informed me of a bunch of good bands from down under: Dungeon (i think), Portal, Gospel of the Horns, D666, Stargazer, etc.
 
As I said.. strange. I took a 10 hour trip (4 hours train, 6 hours bus) to Canberra to catch Australia's premier metal festival, Metal for the Brain. So yeah, when I got there I naturally got pissed with a bunch of other blokes, and didn't sleep that night. So that actually made for the second night in a row not sleeping. Went on down to the venue at midday and by the time Destroyer 666 were on (somewhere later in the day/night) I was fucked. Hadn't slept, or eaten, but had drunk a shitload of piss. So I found myself falling asleep during their set. Yeah, I was 16 at the time.
