It was recently announced that SCO had one of their backers pull a few million from their legal fund. This had to make the stock drop hard and fast. Is it over for them yet? What are your thoughts?
I thought Novell bought SCO a long time ago. I hadn't noticed that they were even around still.
With the popularty of Linux, I don't see how they'll survive. SCO's main UNIX variant was basically mainframe oriented, and these days mainframes, whenever purchased, usually come with an OS that the company would keep.
I think SCO's legal shakedown should be over soon. I'm tired of hearing about them bullying little guys. Honestly, the stuff SCO pulled on people and companies make Bill Gates look angelic.
