I also read a story of an old man who used to like the taste of appleseeds and collected them. By the time his 80th birthday arrived he decided to have a feast with them and died from eating too many.

I think I was born too late to ever see any GI Joe episodes... I did, however, have a giant collection of GI Joe toys. They were my favorite since you could move every part of the limbs.

When opening this thread, I noticed the 'ads by google' bar at the top. It has brougheth me links such as:

"hemp seeds" not too out of the ordinary...

"metal beans" I'm not sure how edible these could be...

"metal seeds" falls into the same category as "metal beans"

"metal like iron" I wasn't aware the two were acquainted...

and "poppy seeds" But there's nothing funny about poppy seeds.

also, when 80 yr olds die, normally it's like, 'oh well, they're 80', but this guy clearly has a passion for life if he was going to rock out with an apple seed feast for his birthday, thus making it sadder
