so like, what... are we gonna attack cuba next?

we probably ought to, but Cuba is a lot better on the cross-border terrorism thing, and if it's not Americans who are getting fucked up, then Americans don't care.

honestly, i'm sure the U.S. will wait until Castro kicks it and see how things shape up in his absence before they make ANY serious moves.

cigars are just too big and weird smelling and i associate them with elderly lebanese members of my family who invite me to pig roasts.. therefore there is no fun involved in that.

Invade Cuba?

Wait a second, how are cigars going to pay for massive invasion and reconstruction? What's the point of invading a country - even if they can't defend themselves - if they can't be made to pay back for their own destruction for years?

There's a serious problem with that plan...

the funny thing is, the U.S. is pushing for Iraq to be forgiven of its debts and not have to pay for the enormous load Saddam ran up buying military equipment and killing the very people who are going to have to pay for the eq (the same way the Spaniards spent millions suppressing the Cuban rebellion, then pulled out and demanded the victorious Cubans pay those debts).

the people who are fighting for Iraq to maintain its debts are France and Russia. gah.
